Japanese Translation Workers Develop World’s First 5-Minute Masters Degree

Each time I’m in an online bookstore or in Barnes and Noble, I see a new book that promises to give reader the equivalent of an MBA education in just a few hours time. I’m sure that many people see value in a single book, one that is smaller than any textbook that they read as an undergraduate student and one that offers all of the knowledge gained from a two year graduate degree. And this morning, while I was scanning the tltles at Books-a-Million, I had an “a-ha” moment. Why not get together with some of our Russian Translation, Japanese Translation and Portuguese Translation workers and develop a ten minute MBA program for our new customers? This would allow them to gain valuable knowledge, save money on a bunch of textbooks and improve their chances of landing a great job and the promise of big raises. But suddenly it dawned on me. Why does the program need to be that long, when I can provide a much shorter one?

Well, we know it’s impossible to get a graduate business degree from a single book and a 5-minute MBA is impossible. But just as a builder sets out the specifications of a building before beginning building and selling it, we can also map out the specifications of a graduate business program. The goal of an MBA program is basically to provide managers with the education and skills necessary to effectively operate a company, and together with our translators, we layed out the common denominators among successful businesses. Particularly, all highly profitable firms make their own demand and supply their wares in an efficient manner.

Generating Your Own Demand
Several Portuguese Translation workers were first to outline the way that demand is generated. Truly successful companies can identify, manufacture and deliver products that consumers want to buy. However, this is only the case if the company provides the product at a cheaper price or provides a more desirable product than the competition.

How To Become Profitable
The Russian Translation workers aimed to summarize how the creation of profitability works while the Portuguese translators examined how to create demand. To the Russian Translators, successful companies must sell products or services at prices that are high enough to cover costs and adequately compensate investors. More often than not, it doesn’t suffice for a company to have the lead in market share and be only slightly profitable. The result is that it is often very difficult to make both customers and investors happy. Many managers earn MBA degrees because of the difficulty in meeting these needs.

Thus far we are well on our way to providing the first ever super quick MBA. It was reassuring that the Russian and Portuguese translation experts showed a deep understanding of the competing demands of customers and investors. But while the task is challenging, companies such as the ones on Fortune’s Most Admired list are able to keep their customers and investors happy.

As the Russian and Portuguese translation teams were at work, our Japanese Translation group set out to define business attributes that make up a successful organization. According to the Japanese Translators, successful organizations must have talented people at all levels. In fact, they believe that it is absolutely critical that organizations have leaders who can develop and sound business strategy, managers who make profitable decisions and motivate others and front line people who have the knowledge and discipline to carry out tasks with accuracy and efficiency. The Japanese Translators also indicated that successful organizations develop strong relationships with external suppliers, customers and other stakeholders. To wrap up, the Japanese stated that success in business relies on sufficient capital to conduct operations and put plans to work.

And here we are, coming full circle, having put together a 15-minute graduate business course that can easily be taken in five minutes. And, the best part is that it is free.

Written Language of China, Japane and Korea and the Laborous Task of Giving Accurate Interpretations

Learning a foreign language is not an easy job, but it can be made less difficult with the use of the appropriate tools – namely the dictionary and the grammar book. The former has easily been produced by the Chinese. However no set of rules governing the mutual relations of words has ever been formulated by the Chinese, apparently because the need of such rules has never been felt. But many grammarians have ventured to establish a system of rules that governs Chinese in a way that would be similar to the system of German and English, to name the few. It is true, though, that there are Chinese Translation groups who have maintained that Chinese has no grammar, which is the opposite. There is quite a bit of truth to this. Undeniably, the most important thing in deciphering Chinese is the understanding of its syntax.

The Japanese language is similar to Chinese in the appearance of characters only. The meaning of the characters is retained from Japanese to Chinese. However, the grammar and pronunciation differ contrastingly. Therefore, a Japanese person might be able to understand the general meaning of a Chinese text, but could by no means produce a Japanese Translator of it. Given the influence of Chinese and Korean on the Japanese islands, it would seem reasonable that their languages would have close similarities as well. However, as far back as the beginning of the Christian era, the Japanese and Koreans could not communicate without the aid of professional interpreters. If there was a common origin for the languages of Korean and Japanese, they likely branched off at an exceedingly remote date. This is how historians view the sequence of events: the Koreans were the first foreign nation to establish a contact with the Japanese. The Japanese reluctantly endeavored to adapt the Korean alphabet so that it could fit the scheme of their own language. In spite of having very similar characters the languages of Japan and China have remained thoroughly different for the last ten scores of years even though the Japanese used the Chinese characters at first and later absorbed their literature.

We still have no evidence about the origin of the Koreans. Not much in the same fashion as Japanese that is of Uralic descent, Korean that is of Turanian origin never really was able to find any particular expression – be it ethical or poetic. Therefore, it was sent in oblivion for quite some time. Modern Korean is written with spaces between words. Traditionally it was written in columns but is now written in rows. Historians believe that Koreans invented their own alphabet, which makes Korean Translation particularly difficult since it is an entirely unique language with a unique alphabet. Traditional Korean literature is written exclusively in Chinese characters, and is not nearly as rich as the literary accomplishments of China and Japan. It is true that most written Korean documents are thought to have their roots in China. Despite this fact, over the years the Korean language have evolved, and since the end of the 19th century most texts have been composed in Korean alphabet. Moreover, nowadays the Korean alphabet is the first to come to mind when starting to compose a document. Therefore, translating such texts into most major languages of the world can earn the living of many professional translators.

Our Medical Translator workers have a difficult job. We all know that the handwriting of doctors can be illegible and sometimes filled with ambiguity due to incomplete sentences. Interestingly, one medical translation worker pointed out how frequently incomplete sentences contain the word because. You can visualize the problem more easily with a few illustrations.

Most people seem to over look this seemingly simple observation. An anyone who is familiar with English as a language will tell you, the word ‘Because’ is an acceptable word to use. Does that mean you shouldn’t use because? Certainly not! It just means that you need to use it correctly. Here is a phrase to keep in mind. Because Jamie coughed it up. She did what because she loved medicine? WIth these phrases, will miss important information. That’s because this isn’t a complete sentence. If one were to fill in the missing data, a complete sentence could be made. Here is an example: Sonja requested a prescription because she likes medicine. Alternatively: Because Mr. Dai had success with over the counter medications in the past, we demanded a prescription.

Equivalent Words
Building a large set of expressions and correct terminology are key for the first year Japanese English Translation student. Synonyms are words that have the same or nearly the same meaning. Synonyms can make or break an occasion, make you seem intelligent or lower your credibility among the people who you are trying hard to impress.

Decisions that Influence Performance in Arabic Translation, Japanese Translation and Russian Translation Corporations

Even though business is full of checks and balances, the business world doesn’t exist in a vacuum and business decisions are still made by humans.For Capitalism to succeed, Japanese Language Translation managers must look past recent scandals like Enron, GE, and the current Financial Crisis and continue to believe that most business decisions are made to strengthen the value of a corporation’s stock. It would be illogical to think that business decisions will always be made based on the premise of stock. As a manager, you might consider how a decision you make will influence co-workers, your community or even your own welfare. Regardless of the number of factors that are considered when making a decision, stock price maximization should be regarded as the most important. It is the responsibility of an Arabic Translation corporation’s stockholders to elect management team members to lead the organization in a way that maximizes stockholder value. The management team that is elected by stockholders must therefore act in an ethical way that is in line with the interests of stockholders..

We know, however, that because the stock of most large firms is widely held, the managers of large corporations have a great deal of autonomy. However, this can sometimes result in the adoption of policies that aren’t always in the best interest of profit maximization. For example, some have argued that the managers of a large, well-entrenched corporation could work just hard enough to keep stockholder returns at a reasonable level and then devote the remainder of their efforts and resources to public service activities, to employee benefits, to higher executive salaries, or to golf.

Therefore, it is often impossible to follow the decision making actions of decision makers in an effort to ensure they comply with the best wishes of the stock holders. Further, how would a Russian Translation employee even begin to go about collecting evidence to show that employee benefit or community improvement projects are in the best interest of stockholders? Further, are executive salaries that sometimes exceed a hundred million dollars really necessary to attract worthy and effect leaders? Regardless, in a competitive free market economy most managers will act in a way that is in the best interests of stockholders or they will be replaced by employees with better intentions. In cases where the management team has not acted in the best interests of stockholders, there have been hostile takeover attempts and proxy fights.

A hostile takeover is defined as a takeover which goes against the wishes of the target company’s management and board of directors. Opposite of friendly takeover. In a hostile takeover, the management team often tried to raise the price of the stock for self preservation purposes. They may also try to make the stock seem unattractive to potential investors.

Another issue that deserves consideration is social responsibility: Should businesses operate strictly in their stockholders best interests, or are firms also responsible for the welfare of their employees, customers, and the communities in which they operate?

The world expects corporations to be good citizens, provide a safe work atmosphere, and not poison the environment and to pay their employees a reasonable salary. However, socially responsible actions have costs, and it is questionable whether businesses would incur these costs voluntarily. Further, if some firms engage in a more socially responsible manner than other firms then a disadvantage could be created which translates into high prices or lower earnings.

New Research in Teaching Italian Document Translation, Japanese Language Translation and Arabic Document Translation Studies

Over time, trying to learn large quantities of foreign language skills can eventually lead to bouts of confusion that is commonly known as burnout! Eventually, you find feel like you are running into mental walls that block your ability to grasp the Japanese Translation skills that you worked so hard to master. Rather building your vocabulary and lifting your spirits, your studying add a new headache and loss of gains that prove beyond a shadow of doubt that you’re actually less intelligent. Even though you are persistent in your attempts to grasp new material, your ability to recall previously studied concepts seems to diminish along with your confidence.
Many students of Arabic Document Translation become trapped by the chains of anxiety from being overeducated. Unfortunately, many of these students believe that studying more and pushing themselves will improve their situation but it usually worsens the problem. As a result, they not only lose their self-esteem but also their interest in learning. When foreign language students begin to be overwhelmed in stress and feelings of anxiety and despair takeover, many students eventually end up dropping out of a course. The over educated may eventually find her way back to the classroom or exit the learning lifestyle, seeking fulfillment at the end of the clicker and prime time television.

Nearly every language student has used the term overeducated to describe herself at some point in time, but education professors and language instructors know extremely little about the condition. In fact, a recent review has even raised the question as to whether over education actually exists. The lack of credible data makes it maddeningly difficult for those facing the inevitable plateau (or worse) to determine what causes a sudden reversal in their progress. As important as it is to determine the cause of over education, for those stuck in the proverbial rut, correcting the situation is even more important.
If you’ve been following along closely, you probably noticed my use of quotes around the term overeducated. I did this because there is actually a better term for this widely experienced condition that education workers so often encounter. The confusion caused by improper terminology is one of the contributing factors in the lack of scientific answers to the question of how to avoid or get out of burnout.
Technically speaking, Italian Document Translation students (including non-academic language enthusiasts who learn for relocation, travel or simply personal goals) must learn beyond the level of their current capabilities in order to improve. Most educators recognize that it makes little sense to go to class each week and memorize a new set of vocabularly words. Most student have learned the hard way that learning can only be effective when it is managed correctly and provides for a progressive and incremental system that introduces new content while allowing student to retain previously learned content. The best educational programs force students to absorb new material at a challenging and consistent rate that is still manageable and not overwhelmingly stressful for the majority of learners. There are a number of tested educational methods that have been successfully applied to language studies. Some methods include flashcards and more cutting edge training systems.
However, constantly pushing beyond one’s natural limits creates the risk of overdoing it. However, when the education demands increase out of proportion to the allowed rest, the mind may not be able to recover or evenly compensate or super-compensate for the heightened stress levels and thus overeducation occurs.
