There are many different breeds of freshwater tropical fish. Some types had several sub species. This puckered look fresh water tropical fish, can grow up to 12 inches long and generally be good within a group. They are territorial in nature and adapt to different groups. They eat almost anything and are fairly easy to care for. A common Betta fish is the Siamese Fighter. The males of the species are very beautiful, with a variety of colors and extremely large tails but tends to fight each other to death if put together. The females can be grouped together, but also can be territorial. It is best to keep these fish by themselves in a tank with some plants.

Some freshwater tropical fish belong to the Rainbow fish group. These colorful fish can make a very good attraction to a fish tank. Most of these freshwater tropical fish come from the Australia or Asian continents and Madagascar. The juveniles of these species do not have much color and people have a tendency to ignore them in a store, but once they mature they are beautiful. katy’s tropical fish review helped me with this stuff. One of these freshwater tropical fish is the Neon Rainbow. The males of the species have red fins and the females orange. They are easy to care among the freshwater tropical fishes without a particular choice in eating. They are good in groups as they show to socialize fine with each other even to other species. I learnt this from katy’s tropical fish review. Boesemans Rainbow is another freshwater tropical fish, that when matured have attractive color. They can grow up to 5 inches long and the male fish looks thicker. Peaceful in nature, they are lovely to watch as they swim in the tank. They will eat anything, but do like some live food.
