Keyword Research - Made Easy And Fast

When you are picking a topic for your next website or Squidoo lens, do you hope that it will be profitable? Or do you KNOW it will? How can you know? By doing the necessary keyword research. “But that is so time consuming”, you tell me.

And I agree with you, BUT who said anything about YOU doing the work yourself? Relax and let me tell you about a tool that does all the heavy lifting for you. It is a keyword research tool called Micro Niche Finder and it is such a blessing to find hot niches. Let me tell you how we use it.

HERE’S MY USER REVIEW OF MICRONICHEFINDER

We had an idea for a one word niche. Hopefully it would be profitable but we didnt know. And I sure wasn’t going to go to the effort of building a new site without first knowing if it was going to work for us.

So we fed that one word into Micro Niche Finder and within about a minute it had found 218 results. That’s 218 related keywords and key phrases. The “long tail” results were 2 words to 6 words in length.

One of the handy things about Micro Niche Finder is its Strength of Competition tool (SOC for short).

The Strength of Competition indicator shows you whether a keyphrase is likely to be too competitive and it indicates that you can “go ahead” with a green light. [spin]Neat, eh… like when you’re driving on the freeway.

The|The[/spin] SOC report showed 197 terms that scored 1-10 on the SOC. Low numbers are good numbers here, indicating a low volume of competition. Yellow and red lights are keywords you should dump due to having too much competition - they’ve got really high SOC numbers like 53, 97, and 184.

AUTOMATION - IT’S NOT ONLY FASTER, IT’S…

Imagine doing keyword research for 197 terms manually, it would be so utterly boring that you just would not do it. Unless you are one mighty unusual dude. Even if you did do the grunt work, how would you calculate Strength of Competition?

So actually this keyword research tool not only saves you time, it ALSO does things you would not otherwise be able to do. And you’ve gotta love that.

Next thing you do is to de-select the handful of keyphrases that are TOO COMPETITIVE - untick the red and yellow lights. Easy.

Click again and MicroNicheFinder goes to work and comes back with the SEARCH VOLUME on all these 197 keyphrases.

So again, you de-select the keyphrases you no longer want… the ones with not enough searches. It’s not worth bothering with them. You can run it again to get the search count for Broad Match Count. Or Exact Phrase Count, or both.

Armed with all that information on one screen, you are now in a position to decide which are the BEST KEYPHRASES to target. Your decisions are based solidly on genuine keyword research, but you didnt have to do the hard slogging. You not only saved time (and you didnt fry your brain), you also have better quality information. Now you can create a Squidoo lens or a blog or your own website. Or you can set up a hub at Hubpages.com or whatever you want to do to connect with this market.

But the main thing is… you know there is a demand AND you know the competition is not excessive.

HOW YOU MONETIZE YOUR NEW SITE

That’s up to you, but here are choices: promote a related affiliate product from Clickbank, focus on a CPA (cost per action) offer from one of the CPA networks, set up an eBay store, build a mailing list and use your autoresponder to send your people both, information and sales pitches, do the buying from Amazon stuff affiliating, etc.

And it all starts with picking profitable niches… and that’s where MicroNicheFinder comes to the rescue. A very handy tool indeed.
