Excluding the cost of a mortgage, owning a car is possibly the largest outgoing for many homes today, so if this can be halved by going from two cars to one, it could be a big weight from your shoulders.

If you Work From Home, you will not be coaxed to go to the pub for that after work quick pint with your work mates, which although not a huge cost, over the course of a year can mount into a not insignificant sum, above all if you are a boss and therefore counted on to get a drink for each of your colleagues, in which case your one pint could cost you the price of half a dozen drinks.
