Cookie Monster is akin to a Pop superstar. He probably made eating cookies a trend. I know for sure that cookies became my instant favorites upon watching Sesame Street everyday on TV. I love Cookie Monster first, eating cookies comes in second.

I’ve always preferred eating to baking or cooking. Sometimes though, when you love a food so much, you get intrigued on how it’s actually made. Baking cookies isn’t the easiest thing to do, but it’s nevertheless a real fun pastime. Knowing how to bake cookies is a life skill I intend to learn.

To bake your own-made cookies is an achievement because baking entails accurate measurements and time, careful beating, and even the right size pans. The outcome depends on each one. A true labor of love. This also makes it all worth it because eating cookies is one of life’s simple pleasures.
