A Dream Holiday Can Definitely Come True In Murcia

Beautiful beaches, fascinating and picturesque scenery, lively fiestas, vibrating culture and great food combined with lavish stay at a luxurious holiday villa conjure up to create the best holidays. Such a dream holiday can definitely come true in Murcia.

Festivities take place in Murcia all year round. There is not even a single month that does not have some of the other festival taking place. A very well known event called the Las Minas Flamenco Song Festival takes place in La Union town in the month of July. The Cartagena’s harbor town also holds the La Mar de Musicas Festival during summers.

An International Festival called de Mediterranean Folklore is celebrated for over three days every September. This is a big event that brings a lot many people and groups from the world over in order to celebrate the culture of the city. Music, Dance and spotlight traditions are performed to educate and entertain its visitors.

Another astonishing carnival is the International Festival of Music, theater and Dance that takes place in Almansa. Top performers from all over the Spain are featured in this festival. The festival also displays some modern and classic work of art in various disciplines.

In the month of January La Fiesta de las Cuadrillas is celebrated in Murcia. This festival is a celebration of the region’s present-day culture. The festival also highlights the music that is commonly played in the area. Every February, the town of Aguilas commemorates carnivals that have around 200-year tradition. These carnivals combine disguises and costumes with a lot of music. The month of March experiences Las Incursiones Berberiscas Festival in Los Alcazares, Mar Menor. This is a three-day festival featuring music, dance, medieval markets and games.
The town of Lorca rejoices while celebrating Holy Week each April. The celebrations include a lot of colorful processions that presents an opportunity to take a closer look at the town's religious traditions. The month of May makes the town of Cieza filled with crosses that are made from flowers in order to celebrate Dia de la Cruz.

San Javier also hosts a number of festivals in the month of December that features music, dance, theater, jazz, open-air dances, rice tasting tradition and Bull Run. In December tourists can also enjoy the festivities Dia de los Santos that takes place in Calasparra.

Spanish holiday villas in Murcia offers a lot more than just sun, sand and surf. Some or the other festival will always be there for you to explore whenever you venture out of the villa.
