Many people travel through the journey of life with without a vision. A picture of the future is of paramount importance. What is your preferable picture of your future? What do you see yourself doing in the future? What is the problem your vision will address? The problem is not the vision. The solution is the vision. The problem provides a clear context for presenting the vision. As a university or college student, I urge you to dream big. Begin to elevate the picture of your future. You can't think of catching mice and expect to catch lions.

A lack of vision is the reason many never finish what they start. Vision provides motivation. Your vision is your future. A person without a vision is a person without a future. A person without a future will always go back to his or her past. Therefore, it is critical that you develop a clear and succinct vision for your life. Why do you exist?
Your vision should be written down. When you write it down, it forces you to clarify it. Bear in mind that your vision will attract critics. Never hand it over to their hands. Visions often die at the hands of the critics. Critics are spectators, not players. Critical people are disappointed people. Remember, there has never been a monument built to a critic. So, it is critical that you focus on your vision and never allow yourself to be diverted or distracted from your vision.
There would be people who will always try by all means to stop or hinder you from moving forward. Some people believe that their only reason for existence is to stop others from achieving their goals and vision. You should always identify those who are adversarial to your vision and swiftly disconnect yourself away from them. There are people that have to leave your life for you to move towards your dreams. Many people's success have been stifled by the very same people they call friends. It is critical that you assess and qualify people for your relationship. Not every person has the same value. Not all relationships are equal. So, for you to succeed it would be appropriate to assess your relationships. Do not try to share a 16 x 10 dream or vision with a 5 x 2 individual. What will happen is that, they will feel intimidated and start resenting you. They will start disagreeing with everything you say and do. Before you know it, they will become adversarial to your goals.
It is critical to understand that having a vision alone is not enough. How will you bring that vision to reality? The only way you can make your vision a reality is through goal setting. Goal setting is important. It is your goals that will turn your dreams and vision into reality. A vision without goals is just fantasy. Your goals are the feet that will take you to your vision. I cannot stress enough the significance of goals setting.
