Counsel #10 How To Study The Bible
By: Timmy Goodenough

Testaments Are Agreements Are Covenants

Welcome to advice number 10 about how to study the Bible. The 10th counsel is founded upon comprehension of the contracts betwixt YHVH, and the houses of different people in the Bible. The contracts are called "covenants", but they are called too as "testaments".

"House" Means "Family"

A covenant, or a testament, is a deal betwixt The aAlmighty and some man's family. For example God made a covenant, or a deal, with the house of Noah. The word "house" is another word for family or spawn or descendants. Thus we can claim that God made a covenant with the house of Noah.

Said facts are fundaments we need to be canny of, while we get knowledge of how to study the Bible.

Some Groups Lived Underground In The Time Of The Great Flood

Some individuals say, "But all folks alive are of the descendants of Noah." Nevertheless, that may not be correct. The flood put to death every living thing that was upon the Earth. The Hopi and the Navajo aver that they stayed safe during the flood by dwelling beneath the Earth, not upon it. Therefore, the contract with the house of Noah is not about the people, who are kindred to the Navajo and the Hopi.

To be sure, in this example, it does not matter with which bloodline the testament was set because the kind, of the agreement was anent whole planet, the Earth.

From Where Arrived The Old Egyptians?

The Dogon attest that the early Egyptians were first seen emerging from the sea. If this is correct, then the earlier Egyptians may have survived the flood by dwelling underwater.

Do you recognize now how you are learning how to study the Bible? Thus, the early Egyptians wouldn't have been "upon the Earth". Too, they would not have stemmed from the spawn of Noah, and wouldn't have been beneficiaries to the promises of Elohiym in Noah's testament with Our heavenly father.

Here Is Your Tip

Here is the advice concerning how to study the Bible: as you study, before you come to an agreement-saga in your Bible, be alert whom YHVH is making the covenant with. Whom is Elohiym awarding his grants to, in each different testament? The rest of your article, herein, gives instances of a few, of the foremost agreements of The almighty, in the Holy Scripture, and prepares you to find the same in your Scripture.

God's Agreement With Abraham

Elohiym made a covenant with Abraham, that Abraham's descendants, through his son Isaac, would forever abide in the territory between the Rivers Nile and Euphrates. By that agreement we all know that the denizens of the same lands are of the family of Abraham, and the family of Isaac.

Old And The New Covenants

You probably know already that the Holy Scripture is segmented into the Old Contract and the New Contract. The Old Contract is the story of contract, a covenant, a testament, betwixt Elohiym and the bloodline of a person named "Israel".

Who Are The Heirs Of The New Testament?

In the Book of Jeremiah, ch. 31, verse 31, God tells, to us, that the New Covenant is an agreement between him and the spawn of a bloke named "Israel". In that verse, the "House of Israel" denotes the northern kingdom, that was deported by milliards into the hinterlands of Assyria, and eventually migrated into North America, South Africa, New Zealand, Europe, and Australia.

God's Testament With David - Jesus Did Not Depart

Elohiym contracted too a contract with the House of David, that we will always be under a King, of the House of David. Some folks assert that covenant refers to the king of England, but that can scarcely be correct, because there is no king of England while I key this. The king, a Child of David, is the Anointed Jesus, who never departed, but who disappeared and became unseen to a great number of people.

Now we're ever so much more knowledgeable about how to study the Bible.
