Christian Persecution – Will It Ever End?
By: Catholic Christian

The world marches onward in its quest for better education for the common people and a higher standard of living, not to mention more knowledge in many areas. So you would think that as this happens people would become more understanding and tolerant of each other’s differences, but this does not seem to be so, at least in the case of religious tolerance.

In fact, certain publications that contain Catholic News tell us that in many countries religious intolerance is more the norm as far as Christianity in concerned. Once it was mainly communism that was against Christianity, but in spite of the decline of communism Christian persecution has increased worldwide, with more countries than ever before persecuting Christians. There are now more Christian martyrs – people who die because of their faith - than ever before.

In many countries anyone who is a Christian can expect to be treated so badly that their very existence is threatened. And in many cases they are either beaten senseless or shot while carrying out the worship to God that is an integral part of their faith. How long will Christians have to suffer such treatment? Probably until Jesus returns to rule the earth – an event that only Christians believe will happen.

Meanwhile, the problem is so severe that many Catholic charities have sprung up to give aid to Christians in need; those who have been denied basic human rights of food and shelter because of their faith. Christians in those lucky countries where religious freedom is in force have the chance to help their fellow Christians, thus obeying the teachings of Jesus to take care of each other. They can do this easily by buying goods from online stores set up for the purpose of aiding persecuted Christians, by making a donation or by making a bequest in their wills.

This author writes about the Catholic and true Christian beliefs and the principles they work on. These articles shed some light and give the reader some detailed information.
