The day of the wedding arrives and there is plenty of love and excitement in the air. The bride and groom exchange vows in which they promise to to be forever faithful to each other. Everyone in attendance says that these two are the epitome of the perfect couple. The love they is the real deal and the way things look will only grow deeper and stronger.
Not too long after that happy day either the bride or groom becomes disenchanted with the relationship. Everything that they hoped for and dreamed about is not happening. Why? One reason is the reality of marriage and dreaming about are nine times out of ten on totally different tracks. Sure the romance may still be there but it is rarely exactly as you want it no matter how hard you may wish.
Then another truth pops up. Many couples come face to face with the fact that the person they married is not perfect. In some instances far from it. More than likely they knew this before the wedding but sometimes romance can blind us to that inconvenient truth.
Their significant other is a good person but they have their flaws. So does the other spouse. The choice is to accept it or try to improve yourself and in turn help them to improve but only if they choose to do so.
For others there is a third choice. And that is to continue looking for that ideal person. That means cheating on their significant other.
Because in their heart they have convinced themselves the perfect person for them is out there somewhere and nothing is going to stand in the way of finding them.
It never ends. The reason being no such person exists. That does not matter. The cheating spouse has told themselves that the person they said is the one for them on that happy wedding day is not the one. It's not the fault of the cheating spouse. It's the fault of the significant other for not being the one.
