Nice, light stuff is a good thing to insist on when you choose portable bleachers, because the weight savings will be appreciated when you move them. You’ll also profit from plastic and aluminum, because neither will warp like wood does, and that is a good thing when it comes time to collapse and move them.
When you find a reliable set of molded plastic or aluminum bleacher seats, you’re likely to get many years of performance out of them with little maintenance required.
