Far less people venture out to the park during the rainy season, where all of the equipment and facilities tend to become neglected as they go unused, while nobody seems to think about them until the weather gets better, then they come to find that some of their facilities did not hold up, causing an entirely different situation. Unlike the the warmer times of year, where tee ball games and an assortment of other events occur on the field, the elements may do damage to some of the equipment, taking a toll, and damaging it, so that when the following season arrives, you're having to deal with warped benches and splinted wood.
It will be problematic to a park when the season starts and there's no room for spectators to sit in the stands, but the game must continue, forcing fans to group along the fences, and a lot of them to lose out on a worthy view of the field during the game, especially park equipment that gets as much use as bleachers do. This is something that no one expects, but it does occur, and for many communities, it requires being brought to the attention of the city council to be able to set aside the necessary funds, ensuring that your park facilities, including fields and other areas, receive the care that they require throughout the year, and are tended to in order to prolong their lives.
Aluminum bleachers are likely the most cost effective and longest lasting of all of the options for seating at the ball park, and even in the most harsh weather, they will still stand strong, not buckling under the weight of the elements. They're also durable during the on-season, light weight and water resistant, being able to take a beating from spectators as well, as they root for their friends and loved ones without needing to think about the security of the seating under the weight of all of the fans, all piled on and shifting with excitement as they watch.
It always comes as a shock when we see grandstands imploding on the news, but with a bit of forward thinking and regular maintenance, we will avoid such disasters, and also, provide a worry-free and reliable experience for all of those that make use of the facilities when they are able. For the sake of security, it is a price that is definitely worth the cost, but bleachers could be somewhat of an expensive endeavor for some places.
