These fittings have found their usage in mission critical and inaccessible locations because they offer high degree of reliability and longevity. There are two fittings standards which are used nowadays; 45 degree flare fittings and 37 degree flare fittings. Where the former one are interchangeable for design controlled applications the latter, 37 degree flare fittings have higher pressure rating for given size tubing.
The next main category is single ferrule fittings in which the ends of the tubes are placed into fitting with a single compression ring, a body and nut. And in Double Ferrule Compression Tube Fittings, the tubes are placed into fitting with two separate compression rings, body and nut. This fitting securely joins the tubes together in a safe, seal and tight assembly as it has ability to firmly hold the tube with the double bite.
Valve is a means of controlling the flow of liquid and gas. These valves are distinguished on the basis of their size, functions, shapes etc. For instance, Needle valves are small in size and have fine threading stem. The nozzle of these valves come in varying size and shapes. So before opting for the valve, there is need that the usage should be identified. Needle valves are used for checking the flow of gases and liquids at low rates. Manifold valves are blessed with the characteristics that it can collect water from the supply line and can distribute to the water circuits, equally or according to the requirements. Manifold valves can be buried inside the ground or can also be positioned above ground. The most common usage of this valve is during the installation of sprinkler for the garden or lawn. Ball valve also have certain industrial applications. These valves have the spherical disc to control the flow and are used to drive the air-powered motors.
