Aquarium Maintenance 101
By: Danny Gomez

The wellness and quality of life of your fish is often dependent on the cleanliness of your fish tank so it's a good idea to maintain it as clean as possible. Most folks spend most of their time decorating their aquariums with some Fish Tank Decor but in reality Sustaining a clean fish tank is ten times more essential then all the ornaments to your fish you live in the H2O. Not properly sustaining your fish tank can be damaging to your fish so do yourselves both a favor and keep it clean so you can both enjoy it completely!

Of course you'll want to transfer out the H2O in your fish tank periodically. If you see the H2O in your fish tank starting to look a little cloudy it's probablt time to clean itIf the H2O in your fish tank is not as clear as it was when you originally put it in you should probably consider changing it out soon. A huge blunder you want to avoid is changing out all the H2O entirely. Unfortunately this can and usually does send your fish into shock so avoid that if possible. Check the temperature of the H2O in your fish tank and prepare a new batch of H2O and get it as close to the H2O in your tank. Once the fresh H2O is ready, proceed to replace only about a little more then half to play it safe and preserve a steady climate for your fish. If you really want to save yourself some tiema dn hard work just invest in a really good H2O filter for your fish tank.

A good cleaning schedule will go a long way in helping you keep your fish tank clean and tidy. To keep your H2O clean and fresh for your fish as well as keep your fish tank looking it's best you should regularly clean your fish tank. Another advantage of having a regular upkeep schedule is that the actual cleaning process takes a lot less longer since your fish tank will never really get too dirty. Some things that can affect how quickly your H2O becomes dirty are the number of fish in your fish tank and overfeeding your fish.

Besides regularly sustaining your fish tank you also want to roputinely check your H2O filter. A clogged or dirty H2O filter is basically useless so you want to make sure you routinely check your H2O filter also. The size of your tank should determine which H2O filter you use for your fish tank and luckily there is a wide variety to choose from.Sure bigger aquariums can be spectacular to look at but they also require a pretty powerful H2O filter to keep it clean and that costs money. Remember the H2O filter keeps your H2O clean by removing all the waste that your fish discard of daily so of course you want to keep that thing clean.

Aquariums are beautiful to look at but it's essential to know going in that they require a lot of work to maintain. If you want to get the most out of your fish tank then I highly recommend you adapt a regular cleaning schedule and invest in a high-quality H2O filter!
