Find A Venue For Children's Parties
By: Michael Rossini

Help with finding a venue for Children’s Parties

Organising a children’s birthday party can often be very stressful for parents. What with looking for decent children’s entertainers, sorting out party food, sending out children’s party invites, etc... Finding a party venue can be one of the main heartaches parents face as they plan their little one’s special day. Here are some helpful tips on places to look for a good venue.

Use Venue Finding Websites:

There are a number of venue finding websites out there. Netmums, a very well known site for info for mums, has loads of listings on good venues for children’s parties all across the UK. http://www.netmums.com/parties/party-venues They also have great listings of children’s entertainers in Surrey, London and all across most of the UK.

Children’s Entertainers

Some children’s entertainers offer you help with finding venues. Froggle Parties: http://www.froggleparties.com/counties/surrey.htm
who specialise in children’s entertainers in Surrey (and London, Hertfordshire, Berkshire, Buckinghamshire, Essex and Kent) offer help and suggestions with finding venues across all of these counties that they cover. The advantage with using children’s entertainers in Surrey and all of these other areas is that they are based locally and will therefore know loads of great places you can approach and in many cases the children’s entertainers will have been there themselves, having already run their children’s parties there.

Local Council’s Website

Your local council’s website will often have a page that lists available halls and venues that are available for hire. Or you can just call them up for information on this.

Yell.com

Admittedly I don’t use yell too much for searches, but Yell does tend to have loads of church halls listed on their site, so this can actually be a great resource for finding you a children’s party venue. They also have a good few listings for children’s entertainers.

Schools

Schools often hire out their facilities. They often have great halls for parties and are more than happy to let you hire a space. They don’t all do it but the ones that don’t can usually put you on to the schools that do.
