Organising a children’s birthday party can often be very stressful for parents. What with looking for decent children’s entertainers, sorting out party food, sending out children’s party invites, etc... Your local council’s website will often have a page that lists available halls and venues that are available for hire. Or you can just call them up for information on this.

Admittedly I don’t use yell too much for searches, but Yell does tend to have loads of church halls listed on their site, so this can actually be a great resource for finding you a children’s party venue. They also have a good few listings for children’s entertainers.
Schools
Schools often hire out their facilities. They often have great halls for parties and are more than happy to let you hire a space. They don’t all do it but the ones that don’t can usually put you on to the schools that do.
