There are many leather Cleaners are available in the market. Many times this cleaning will be risky due to the fact that it may alter the color of your leather products. So be careful while purchasing leather cleaner and first test on inconspicuous area of the leather cloth.
If the leather cloth is costly and branded consult a leather cleaning professional. Most of the times you may clean your leather clothes yourself if the stain is normal such as milk Stains, ink stain and grease Stains etc. Whenever you get stain on your leather cloth try to clean that as soon as Possible So the chances of removing the stains become more.
I have listed few stain types and possible solutions.
Milk stains : Try to blot up the excess milk as much as possible. After that apply the wet sponge on the wet stain area. alternating with a clean dry cloth. And make sure that all the milk get removed properly. If you leave any milk behind it will cause fall odor.
Ink Stains : This type of stains are normally very difficult to remove. So it is recommend to go for professional leather cleaner. Normally the methods of cleaning such type of stains often create a problem by spreading the ink.
Grease Stains : Be careful while cleaning such type of stains. First blot the excess Grease with dry and clean cloth. Then sprinkle some normal talcum powder and wait for at least four hours after that wipe off the powder gently.
Blood or Urine : To remove such type of stains use clean damp clot and after blotting the stain allow leather cloth to dry slowly.
Salt Stains : It is quite easy as compared to other stains. In this case use the mixture of vinegar and water the proportion should be in 3:1 ratio.
Gum : Put our normal ice cube in the plastic bag and rub that bag on the stain until the gum get hardened after that slowly pull of the gum. If it will still not get removed heat that area with dryer and then wipe off with a clean cloth.
