•Google Gears— It was used to maintain the web browser functionality while working offline also. On December 1, 2011, Gears-based service on Gmail and Calendar will not work across all the browsers.
•Google Search Timeline— This service is being removed. For more information Google Books can be used instead of it.
•Google Wave— It was an attempt to combine email and instant messaging to give real-time results somehow failed to gain users attention and will be turned off completely from April 30, 2012.
•Knol— Knol was launched in 2007 to improve web content and was a competitor to Wikipedia. It is being replaced by Annotum, an open-source scholarly platform. It will not be visible after Oct 2012.
•Google Buzz- It is social networking tool used for micro blogging and messaging from Google will shut down its social networking product Google Buzz.
