I love going to baseball games. There is nothing better in the world than summer time and going to a baseball game. Well I guess there is something that is better. As the song says it would be a piece of apple pie to go along with it.
I can remember playing as a small boy in my little league games. That was really the best times of my life. I have always wished that I was better at baseball because I really wanted to play for a college team or maybe even a pro team. But I was not good enough for that but I still have the passion for the game.
That is why I have already taken my grandson and granddaughter to their first major league game. I really want them to have great memories of us going to games like that because my dad was never able to take me to games like that. I think that it is really important to take time out of your busy life to spend time with your children and grand children as much as you can. It does not have to be at a ball game. But it needs to be somewhere.
Another good place to take them is to an amusement park. I can remember taking my daughter to one and we really had some great times there. We would get our little leather travel bag and head toward the amusement park. We really had some great times there.
I tell you another thing that we used to do. We would get our backpacks and go hiking in the mountains. We would always see where the waterfalls were at and head for therm. There are so beautiful to look at. The best part about going to the waterfall was that when you got there you could cool off at the falls.
Another suggestion would be is to take your child on a motorcycle ride. But before you do that please make sure that you have all of the safety equipment to make your ride very enjoyable. A leather jacket, a helmet, leather chaps, leather vests, and these are just suggestions and I am sure there are many more that you will need.
