Rubber Animal Bracelets Are A Great New School Toy!
By: Amanda C. Stewart

Rubber animal bracelets are a hot new craze in schools. They come in an exciting range of colors, shapes and sizes. If you pull them or stretch them, or bend them out of shape, then they return to their original shape as soon as you let go. They are hard wearing and durable and a great toy to play with.

They can be purchased from all major toy shops, malls or retailers. Many companies now make them. Some of the best known names are Silly bandz and Zany bandz, but there are a lot more companies which also make special rubber bands.

Kids love them because they are fun and colorful. They come in packs which contain around twenty four pieces, so there are usually enough there to be an instant collection from the moment you open the bag. There are so many! But the best thing about them is that you can trade them.

If you find that you have traded with everyone in school, then for extra trades, why not go along to one of the trading days. These are advertised in malls. Toy shop owners and retailers usually hold them to encourage people to come along and swap their spare bands for great new ones. It is a fantastic way to meet new people with the same interest and to swap all the bands that you do not need and get great new ones.

Parents love them too. They are quite cheap to buy and easy to store. They are not little hard things like other crazes have been. So if there are some lying around on the floor and you step on them, you do not hurt your feet or fall over them. And they keep the kids busy and entertained. They are also educational because the children can learn the names of all the different animals and find out neat stuff about them.

They are made by the die-molding method out of silicon, which is a natural, non-toxic substance. They are safe to play for children from three years of age onwards. They keep their shape and when they are stretched and let go, return to their original shape. They are also hard wearing and durable. Collect them, use them for holding things together, or wear them as bracelets.

There are more and more of them all the time. The manufacturers let little tantalizing details escape so that the kids can guess what the new shapes might be. Or they hold fun competitions for kids to design their own shapes. They can then see their shapes being made and even own their own designed shapes themselves.

These are certainly a huge and growing popular craze. There are such a vast number of animals and also different shapes that all kids are sure to find something they like. The range of animals itself is enormous. There are jungle animals, tigers and lions and elephants. There are pet animals, like cats and dogs. There are also insects and fantasy animals. There is definitely something for everyone!
