Making Money Online With Pay per Play
By: Lee MacRae

You have worked very hard putting content on your website and you have spent years giving freely to the Internet community through all that hard work. Now you decide you'd like to make a little bit of money from all your efforts. Or at least bring in enough money to pay for those monthly bills to your web host. But for most of us be needed income continues to be an elusive dream. But there is an opportunity that may change all that for each and every website owner out there today.

Many website owners started off using banners. Those are those ads you see flashing on a lot of websites across the World Wide Web. The person clicks on a banner ad and you may or may not be paid for that click through. Some companies require that the person clicking through on the banner has to buy something or sign up for something before you can get paid so it still is not a sure thing. And most people ignore the flashing banners these days. The other thing that people turn to is Google Adsense. Though Google Adsense has made a lot of money for people over the years, these days it requires a large number of people visiting your website and a very good click through rate to generate a good revenue stream using only Adsense. Normal click through ratios [CTR] for Adsense are in the 2% to 5% range and that means that two to five people out of every hundred will click on one of your ads. Since you may not make more than a few pennies per click, you can see you need an awful lot of website visitors to make any kind of serious revenue. And some people struggle to get over the 1% CTR.

And that's why an up-and-coming revenue model stream for websites called "pay per play audio ads" is very interesting for any website owner. With the pay per play network model one of their ads is triggered any time a visitor comes to one of your webpages. All the person has to do is visit your webpage. They don't have to click on any banner, they don't have to click on any advertising box or any connecting link to an advertiser on your website. The audio ad is automatically triggered and that means you are being paid for 100% of any traffic that you can generate to your own website. I think you can easily see how much more profitable this kind of revenue model can be for a website owner. If you can work hard enough to generate all that rich content that attracts the visitors that the advertisers want to put their advertising in front of, then you should be paid for all that work. Makes sense doesn't it?

All you have to do is place a pay per play audio code on any web page you want and the audio ad is triggered immediately when your visitor arrives at that page. Advertisers like Taco Bell or Harley Davidson already use these types of audio ads. So for example, if you have a website or webpage that deals with Harley Davidson motorcycles, motorcycle leathers, motorcycle history or any other related subject, you can serve up a five second audio advertisement to your visitors. It's that easy. As the website owner you have the opportunity to earn 25% of the pay per play revenue spent by the advertisers with the audio ad network. Rather than pennies you now have the opportunity to earn dollars. And potentially a lot of dollars with the audio ad network ramping up its advertising model right now.

Do you want to continue to use flashing banners or Adsense blocks on your webpages to generate a revenue stream, yet make very little? Take a very serious look at the Pay per Play audio ads that can bring you in some very serious cash. Don't let others collect all the cash off your hard work, collect some yourself for a change.
