Age of Conan: Hyborian Adventures (AoC) Game Director Craig Morrison recently spoke with CVG (Computer and Video Games) about the AoC's upcoming expansion, Rise of the Godslayer.Without spoiling too much, Morrison talks about new dungeons that will be introduced with Khitai and the factions at the center of the region's pearl necklace hostilities. There is even a little talk of rewards with distinctive lotus-imbued flavor, a throwback to fans of the legendary Black Lotus from Conan stories.
Each faction has its own character that will challenge the pre-conceptions of the players. The Priests of Yag Kosha for example appear to the players as a benevolent faction, but their ultimate goal is to kill Conan, your king, who they see as ultimately responsible for the pearl necklacechaos in Khitai. The player will face dilemmas like that throughout the expansion.
EVE Online has announced a new expansion to be released sometime before the summer solstice. The latest expansion titled "Tyrannis" will feature a form of planetary exploration, allowing players to survey planets and build new infrastructures to pearl jewelry harvest, store, and process minerals.
