Buying Your Perfect Halloween Kids Transformers Costume
By: Nathaniel Izzo

I don't know about you, but Halloween is one of my favorite holidays, and this year I'm thinking of getting a kids transformers costume for the big night. I want to really blow things out for this holiday, and have even gone so far as to compete in some costume contests in years gone by. That can be a lot of work, though, because you usually have to customize the costume if you want to have a shot at winning. Most Halloweens I just shop online and buy something which strikes my fancy.

You may well be worried about going online to purchase a specialty item like a costume. This is understandable, but unnecessary. The online channel is almost perfect for seasonal businesses like costume sales, because the online retailer does not have to pay for infrastructure year round for a business that only make sales 2-3 months out of the year. As you would expect, a strong group of sellers has established itself in this industry and there is enough competition to guarantee that they offer good prices and service.

Most of the reputable online dealers these days enable people who have purchased a product to provide feedback, either by giving ratings or complete reviews. Finding real customers' reviews about that costume you are thinking about may very well be a complete godsend! The purchasers will give you the true story, warts and all, and especially warnings about probably the biggest problem of all: size problems! The last thing you need may be to buy your usual size, then find out that their "M" is actually more like an "L". A too-big costume is annoying; a too-small costume will frequently be a waste of money, unless you've got time to exchange it.

A common gripe people express when buying costumes online is sizes! The favorable companies try to give you extra feedback on this subject, and purchaser reviews will often harp on it a lot. Be sure to buy from a good, established online dealer that provides access to purchaser reviews (most of them do, these days). The last thing you need would be to order that costume and find out that while you normally wear an XL, the costume is too small. If you didn't leave yourself time to return it for replacement, you'll be kicking yourself even harder.

What this all boils down to is a few elementary (and probably apparent) things you want to do if you want to be glad about your purchase. Start thinking of your costume well in advance! Don't leave the ordering to the last minute, or you might not have time to replace it if there should be issues. Budget the time to spend reading previous purchasers' reviews. This can save you all kinds of grief. And finally be sure you purchase your transformers costume from a solid, reputable online retailer; there are plenty of them available.
