Car Loans- Finance Your Car
By: Tom Darwin

Are you thinking of buying a car? Does it seem difficult to you to afford a car? Car is a luxurious commodity and it costs very high. It will really be difficult for any middle class family to bear such a huge expense at a time. But it does not mean in anyway that middle class family should not buy a car. Car Loans are there to fulfill the car dreams of these sections.

Before going for these loans one must think about all aspects of such loans. These include the terms and conditions of the borrowing, the interest rates, early redemption penalties, late payment penalties, etc. These loans are available in both secured and unsecured form. Each have definite advantages and disadvantages, so make sure you read the details carefully so you know what you're getting into. In case you are going for secured loan then your newly purchased car will be collateral. If you default with them then your car will be seized and will be resold to third party. The greatest advantage with secured loan is that cheaper interest rate will be charged. An unsecured car loan is one that doesn't use the car as collateral. This type of loan is offered at a higher interest rate. However, availing unsecured car loan is a bit tough.

The repayment tenure of car loans varies from lenders to lenders. But generally the repayment duration is within 1 to 5 years. Some lenders may provide you with an extended repayment period. It is advisable to take loans on shorter duration. Longer time duration give you the facility to pay a lower monthly payment, but an overall higher interest rate.

Also one should do some homework before finalizing the deal with particular lender. You need to do through online and offline search to get the best deal. One must investigate regarding any hidden charge.
