1. Remember - Water is the most effective treatment for acne. This is due to the fact that that water is alkaline which has a pH 7.3 and can be regarded as a natural treatment for acne. Therefore, drinking 8 glasses of water everyday will help you get rid of waste, toxins and can also help moist your skin as it keeps you pores from clogging. Water can also relieve you from stress and can relax your body so that you can have a better sleep. Note that water and sleep are ways that can help you reduce stress. Decreasing coffee, soda, tea and alcohol intakes as much as possible can also be beneficial. This is because they are partial diuretics which drive more water out of your cells.

2. Warding Off astringents can also help you have radiantly healthy looking skin. Utilizing natural soaps such as oatmeal, witch hazel, very cold water and rubbing alcohol can be an alternative way to clean your skin. Studies prove that people are prone to clog their pores when their skin pores shrink.

3. Staying away from coffee, tea, cigarettes and excessive sugar from sweets and soda should also be done to avoid triggering stress. It is widely thought that anything that can affect the entire body especially the nervous system can provoke sebaceous gland to release more oil.

4. Checking what you eat can affect acne as well. Try to eat low fat food as fat develops more oil that is capable of obstructing our pores.
