Ms Pope holds regular <a href='http://www.shoes-luxury.com/'>Christian Louboutin</a> shoes sale parties at her home, with prices starting from pounds 20 and rising to as much as pounds 80, depending on the design and quality of the craftsmanship.
These days, the sandals are a design classic. Karl Lagerfeld has included a black suede version in his spring/summer collection for Chanel, and Marc Jacobs, who often reinvents designs from the 1970s, has also featured a khaki canvas wooden-soled sandal in his current range. Most creative of all are T Taylor’s hand-painted versions. The Florida-based company paints the wood with vibrant designs including cherries, palm trees, tropical flowers or a zebra print.
